SMAY at the Fire Safety 2012 conference
SMAY participated in the international Fire Safety 2012 conference organised by the Building Research Institute held on 6 – 8 November.
The conference focused on the theoretical and practical building fire safety engineering problems, with particular emphasis on issues such as: building fire safety, smoke extraction and fire aeration, evacuation and technical handovers from the point of view of fire safety.
The aim of the conference was an exchange of knowledge and practical know-how within the scope of the usage of state of the art fire safety engineering solutions.
During the conference, SMAY presented a film depicting the stack effectphenomena and the operational principles of the SAFETY WAY® system used for protecting vertical and horizontal escape routes against smoking in the event of a fire.
