The Award has been granted on the regular basis since 2009 in the following categories: small entrepreneur, medium entrepreneur and large entrepreneur. The Award winners were chosen by the Małopolska Economic Council, the board of experts in the field of business and professors from major universities in the region.

During the event the participants also discussed the future of Polish and regional companies, challenges for investors as well as economic achievements. Mr Witold Kozłowski, the Marshal of the Małopolska Region, attended the event alongside representatives of regional companies, diplomatic posts, business environment institutions and universities.

“The Award winners are the pride of our region, and their success is the evidence that Małopolska Region has the high economic potential and wide development opportunities,” said Marshal Witold Kozłowski.

The Małopolska Investors and Exporters Service Forum (Polish acronym MFOIE) is directed towards the representatives of local government and entrepreneurs, business environment institutions and universities from the Małopolska Region. The Forum is an event aimed at developing economic cooperation, creating optimum partnership conditions, as well as exchanging views and opinions on important, relevant issues related to the economy of the Region, Poland, Europe and the entire world.
