The largest and most modern analytical and chemical laboratory in Poland and the sixth largest in the European industry laboratories. It was created as part of the Płock Industrial and Technological Park investment. It is the seat of five existing field laboratories concentrated in one site, which performs analytical research controlling technological processes at PKN ORLEN.

In this type of places, efficient ventilation is one of the basic methods of protecting the health of personnel and protecting the object against fire or explosion.

The right air exchange in the laboratory for the SMAYLAB® air supply and exhaust system. It is energy-saving, adequate in efficiency and function to the number and requirements of chemical analyzes. In hazardous states, i.e. if the permissible concentrations of harmful or flammable substances are exceeded, it reacts automatically or to commands issued manually. A special VAV controller with hybrid construction (EXH) was created for the needs of the facility. Its unique design allows you to minimize investment costs by about 40% on each VAV hybrid regulator.

Acceptance tests were carried out involving the fumigation of fume hoods and local exhaust and analysis of results. The system was launched in accordance with the design guidelines, including ventilation systems, safety and emergency ventilation, and was combined into one coherent system with the local BMS system. It also has remote access to diagnostic purposes. The system improves the work of ventilation and air conditioning, ensuring maximum safety of users while maintaining optimal working conditions.
