The Vice President of SMAY Marzena Maj has received the International Woman of the Year in Fire Safety award. This extremely important international distinction was awarded during an official gala in London. Our Vice-President received the award in person for empowering women in the fire safety industry around the world.

Recently, we proudly announced that Marzena Maj was among the finalists of the prestigious “Women in Fire Safety Awards” competition, and today we are pleased to announce that our Vice-President has won the title of International Woman of the Year in this global competition. On September 28, 2023, a gala was held in London, during which prestigious statuettes were awarded to the winners of this year’s edition of the plebiscite. We would like to congratulate all the winners and thank them for their contribution and activities for fire safety.

Marzena Maj has been working dynamically for ventilation and fire safety for years and a constant advocate for the position of women in the industry. The SMAY vice-president is actively involved in projects supporting equality and development of young people and at the same time actively works for the May Family Foundation, of which she is the President. The title of International Woman of the Year is an international distinction that perfectly sums up the activities of Marzena Maj and adds motivation for further initiatives for women in the fire safety industry.
