These models contain detailed product information that can assist in the process of preparing industry-specific projects.

• The *.rfa families have a parameterized structure that helps eliminate design errors during the creation of installation models through error information and visual communication.
• Each model has three levels of graphical representation detail available in the 3D view: low, medium, and high. Depending on the chosen level of detail, the element representation varies. For example, at the low level, the element is shown as a symbol, at the medium level, the model is a three-dimensional object with simplified geometry, and at the high level, all component elements of the product are represented. Additionally, for each family, there is the possibility to control the visibility of elements (service areas, symbols, messages, logos). In the detailed models, a product code is generated, which can help in creating inventories and expedite the process of cost estimation for installations.

• Each Revit Smay Family consists of a range of available elements from the manufacturer’s offer. The selection of a specific type is possible when loading the Family into the project.
• Each loaded type of the same Family product will have different properties corresponding to the current catalog card of the represented product.

• Adhering to the recommendations in the Guide will help maintain a healthy Revit model. Each Family includes a range of available products, and when loading the Family into the project, the user can choose specific types to place in the project browser. This approach enables proper management, reduces model load, and makes use of the tools offered by Autodesk software.
• From the beginning of the project, it is recommended to continuously monitor and control the file size – the size of libraries loaded into the project simultaneously greatly affects the speed of movement in the BIM model.
• From the Ribbon Manage, it is possible to remove Family types that are currently not used in the model. This can be done using the “Purge Unused” tool.
