Product offer of our Company was extended with two brand new products louver of the air for halls and new duct SDS was improved with new construction element. New louver is designed to be use in antismoke installation and gravity for big buildings and architectural objects , like hall, warehouse , and antismoke dust set SDS it is first in Poland completed set of antismoke ducts, optimal preparation of the high quality project of installation.

During the demonstration all attendants had a possibility to watch on live on screenplay how the fire grows, the fire was set on purpose in testing space arranged like room and kitchen. Only after two minutes from the moment of fire set , fire was on the half of the couch, and dark smoke fullfed top part of the room. After smoke sensor which consisted of fire dumper and has reported that smoke is present on a staircase, ventilator providing fresh air in the lower part of staircase. After few minutes Fire Service has come on a place of the fire and started to suppress the fire.

2 June of 2016 Year win Expo Silesia Hall in Sosnowiec was held in International technical conference „Safe evacuation”, which has gathered about 650 person from whole Poland and abroad Conference was assuming long testing project , main task of which was to check effectivity of the antismoke system used in prevention from fire on staircases and improve the scheme of peoples evacuation and fire service cooperation. Conference was held by SMAY Sp. z o. o . – one of leading Companies producing fire ventilation. Honorary patronage was held by Sosnowiec City Town Clerk , and National Fire Security Service– Government Search Institute.

In the beginning of the New Year 2016 r. changes were held in Board of the SMAY. LLC New Chairman now is previous V-ce Chairman Mr. Michał Maj. To the Board was included also Technical Director Mr. Jarosław Wiche, who is now V-ce Board Chairman and the Proxy function is held by Mrs. Marzena Maj, Sales Director of the Company . Founder and previous Chairman from many years SMAY Mr Marek Maj, demised from the function of Chairman of the Board , but still remains connected with Company.

From March 10th through 14th we have promoted again polish brand SMAY at the World’s Leading Trade Fair ISH in Frankfurt am Main. Held every two years 2015th edition has been visited by 198 thousands guests including 37 percent came from outside Germany.

During VENTILATION FORUM – AIR-CONDITIONING SHOWROOM (FWSK) 2014 held on 5-6 March, Smay presented its newest products.

Fire Ventilation Academy is another educational initiative carried out by SMAY.

Due to its dynamic growth, SMAY has purchased 1.3 ha of land with a production facility with an area of 3100 square metres.
