Firefighter’s Day at SMAY – training and demonstration of fire protection systems

Last week, at the SMAY headquarters in Podłęże, we carried out smoke tests and evacuation drills. The event was punctuated by demonstrations of our Safety Way pressure differential system, smoke extraction systems and a presentation of fire ventilation equipment in our showroom. All of this was enriched with a technical presentation to understand the principles of the systems being presented.

The event was honoured with the presence of firefighting units not only from Podłęże but also from Zakliczyn, Grabie and Dąbrowa. All the participants emphasised the importance of smoke tests and evacuation drills, which should be carried out on a regular basis, especially in facilities where large numbers of people work. Safety is essential for us; therefore, we make every effort to maintain the highest standards.

In order to gain an even deeper understanding of how fire protection systems work, we complemented the entire event with a technical presentation. It was an opportunity for participants to thoroughly familiarise themselves with this subject matter.
