On Thursday, June 29, 2023, we held the SMAY Olympics, coupled with an outdoor integration meeting. The mood, attendance and weather were perfect, and the event itself was packed with activities for adults and… children, since our employees could bring their kids along.

All SMAY employees could participate in a team-building event that took place outdoors right next to the company’s headquarters. Apart from the barbecue and heartfelt conversations with their colleagues, everyone could take part in the SMAY Olympics, which included a number of sport competitions and activities to improve their cooperation skills.

The games included 10 competitions (each scored), and the participants were able to show their dexterity, wit, and creativity.

• First place was won by the COMBI-NATORS team
• Second place was taken by the JK team
• Third place went to the AFC RICHMOND team

Children enjoyed the SMAY integration event

During the team-building, apart from attractions for adults, we prepared a number of games and activities for children. Each employee could bring their child to this special meeting and offer them a behind-the-scenes glance at the work of the company. A major highlight of the day was the painting of the Fiat 126p, which is to take part in the Great Toddler Expedition rally to Monte Carlo on July 4th. The Piotr Maj Family Foundation is participating in the project, with its President, Ms. Marzena Maj, to be the navigator of the Toddler, driven by the rally car driver Rafał Sonik.

A unique guest

A unique guest at the event was Mr. Rafał Sonik, whose spectacular arrival at the SMAY headquarters made quite an impression on both children and adults. Great projects deserve a great setting. The idea of having the children paint a ‘Toddler’ that sets off to rally in order to help children in need is beautiful and most charitable.
