Held in London for the fifth time, the prestigious Tall Buildings Conference & Awards 2024, focusing on safety as the top priority for high-rise buildings, created an ideal space for discussion, exchange of views, and sharing knowledge about innovative engineering achievements that are changing our cityscapes. It is an honour to be where a safer world is being built!

Joint Presentation by SMAY Experts at Tall Buildings Conference 2024

Radek Sikorski, International Business Development Manager, and David Fitzpatrick, General Manager UK at SMAY Ventilation Systems, were speakers at the Tall Buildings Conference 2024. Their joint presentation, “How Does a Pressurisation System Impact the Fire Safety in a High-rise Building?” shed new light on ensuring fire safety for skyscrapers being constructed in Europe. The presentation covered current regulations, the operation scheme of the pressurisation system, and project case studies — supported by examples of existing skyscrapers equipped with SMAY’s Safety Way system in Warsaw, Krakow, Malta, and Greece.
