The 1st Polish Construction Industry Championships in road cycling are behind us
Organized by SMAY and the May Family Foundation, the 1st Polish Construction Industry Championships in road cycling have ended. On May 18, at the race starting line, the slogan “Helping Builds” gathered 197 cyclists, who faced the challenge of riding the route through the Niepołomice Forest and together they carried out the mission of bringing help. All funds raised during this unique event, which combines an exciting cycling race, business networking and a charity dinner, were donated to help the young charges of the Piotr Maj Family Foundation.
We know the Men’s and Women’s 2024 Polish Construction Industry Champion in road cycling
Over a distance of 84.5 km, the title of Polish Construction Industry Champion was won by Emil Stańczykowski (Volveno Racing Team), ahead of Krzysztof Rąpała (PS8 Racing Team) and Ambroży Kozikowski (AKIS.pl). Among women (50 km), Marta Koc (ERAGA) turned out to be the best, with second place taken by Joanna Balawajder (W.EG Poland),and third by Agnieszka Kościowska (Conoship). Our congratulations to all the winners.
SMAY TEAM on the podium!
Our team also acquitted themselves excellently during the race and reached the podium of the 1st Polish Construction Industry Championships in road cycling! The top three in the team classification were as follows:
- I place: Zio-Max One Team
Composed of: Robert Prokopiuk, Wojciech Wojciechowski, Przemysław Chruściel and Mariusz Sośnierz
- II place: CFE
Composed of: Andrzej Świder, Michał Ziomek, Jakub Haligowski and Dariusz Kretowicz
- III place: SMAY TEAM
Composed of: Maciej Król, Paweł Międzobrodzki, Rafał Kaczkowski and Mateusz Pasoń.

A medal-winning championship – we must do it again!
The First Polish Construction Industry Championships in road cycling combined with business networking and charity dinner brought help to the tune of millions of zlotys! Our initiative has proven that a united construction industry can do great things. Therefore… It needs to be repeated! We are happy to confirm that in 2025 the construction industry will again compete for the title of Polish Men’s and Women’s Champion both in road cycling and in helping those in need.
