The designated escape route through the stairwell is the only way to evacuate before fire fighters arrive. The function of the smart SAFETY WAY® system is to evacuate the danger area or area with spreading fire, quickly and safely owing to proper visibility.
The facility is provided with the SAFETY WAY® system to keep smoke away from vertical and horizontal escape routes (lift shafts, stairwells, smoke-proof enclosures, corridors). Smoke and heat spread is fully controlled by pressure increase in the differential pressure system. The proprietary adaptive algorithm controls the main air supply fans depending on temperature parameters. The system ensures its components operate automatically, balancing positive pressure all the way to the top of the building. The system is kept informed about the current ambient conditions and can adapt initial working parameters accordingly. The core of the system are iSWAY air supply units, designed to be adapted to any facility – from low-rise and medium-rise residential buildings to high-rise, multi-function buildings.
