The Great Maluch Expedition to Monte Cassino is underway! 80 Fiat 126p cars are heading to pay tribute to the heroes on the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino and to raise funds to help children injured in road accidents. SMAY Vice President Marzena Maj is once again participating in this event, and this time her sons have joined her — it seems helping others runs in the family.

SMAY Vice President Participates Again in the Great Maluch Expedition

The Great Maluch Expedition 2024 has started! This time, kind-hearted individuals are heading to Monte Cassino. 80 Fiat 126p cars are taking off on the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino to raise money for children injured in road accidents. This wonderful initiative, featuring beautiful classics of Polish automotive history, has one common goal — to help children and raise awareness about the serious consequences of road accidents. Marzena Maj, Vice President of SMAY and President of the Maj Family Foundation named after Piotr Maj, participated in the First Great Expedition to Monte Carlo last year and promised to join the next edition in a Maluch! A year has passed, and our Marzena, along with Rafał Sonik in their colorful Maluch number 101, is travelling through Europe to help children! This time, Marzena is accompanied by her sons: Marek Jr. and Maciej, proving that helping others is in their blood!

On July 5th at 12:00 PM, the Great Maluch Expedition 2024 set off from the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw! Last year, over 30 Fiat 126p cars participated in this incredible event — this year, 80 of the tiny cars, driven by big-hearted individuals, are heading to Monte Cassino to raise funds for children injured in road accidents. In Monte Cassino, Fiat 126p cars were produced for 28 years, and it was there 80 years ago that Polish soldiers, led by General Władysław Anders, achieved a heroic victory.

Maluchs for Children! Help Measured in Kilometres

The Great Maluch Expedition is made possible thanks to the involvement of automotive giants: Longin Bielak, Sobiesław Zasada, Maciej Wisławski, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, and Bartosz Ostałowski — just some of the big names participating in the expedition. Additionally, renowned Polish YouTuber Remigiusz “Rezi” Wierzgoń is once again getting behind the wheel of a Fiat 126p. The goal of this year’s expedition? To raise a total of ONE MILLION EUROS for children injured in car accidents.

A Special Maluch for a Special Cause — Multiplying Goodness

This time, our two Fiat 126p cars are participating in the Expedition! The Maj Family Foundation named after Piotr Maj has prepared a special Maluch, full of history and memories related to the events at Monte Cassino. This extraordinary Maluch, decorated with red poppies, is also heading to Italy and is driven by a noble-hearted couple who won the opportunity to participate in the Great Maluch Expedition during our “Helping Builds” auction.
