At SMAY, we do not only provide help during the Christmas season. We know that spreading kindness and supporting those in need are the biggest gifts we can share with people who could use them the most. We are even happier knowing that our support reaches not only people in Poland but all over the world.

The end of the year is a time to reflect and make New Year’s resolutions. In addition to setting new business goals, planning professional development and making long-term plans for the future, we slow down for a bit and appreciate what we have. Sharing kindness and helping those in need are good things to do.

Supporting children and teenagers in Uganda

SMAY is supporting those in need all over the world and is taking a number of actions so that help reaches people who could use it the most. Marta Maj-Durbas and Marcin Durbas made a donation for the purchase of a water tank for children and teenagers attending a primary school in Kabunza, Uganda. The tank is connected to a deep-water well and is already providing clean water to more than five hundred pupils and preschoolers. Additionally, in the dry season (when there is no precipitation in the region), the water will help other people from the surrounding area.

Spreading kindness and supporting those in need

We are honoured to have been able to support activities that improve the quality of life and education for Ugandans and we are happy that the tank is already operational and is serving its purpose well. The smiles of the children and teenagers attending the school in Kabunza inspire us to get even more involved in socially benevolent initiatives and continue to help those in need. We would like to thank the St Francis Catholic Church in Matugga (Uganda) for the clip and photos. The handwritten wishes from pupils attending the school in Kabunza were not only moving but, above all, confirm that our efforts are indeed beneficial.
