Marzena Maj, Vice President of SMAY, becomes a Member of PLGBC Board of Directors

On June 29, 2023, the PLGBC General Meeting elected a new Board of Directors, an Audit Committee, and President of the Council. We are happy to announce that Ms. Marzena Maj, Vice President of SMAY, has been appointed a new member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Green Building Council, PLGBC. SMAY is a long-term member of the Council.

Vice President of SMAY, Ms. Marzena Maj, became a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Green Building Council. PLGBC is part of a global community that includes over 70 green building councils gathered within the World Green Building Council. We are happy that Ms. Marzena Maj will be representing SMAY in this organization which is crucially necessary and important for the construction sector as a whole.

At SMAY we think green

SMAY has been a member of the Polish Green Building Council, PLGBC, since 2019. We actively support efforts to transform the construction sector towards sustainability. We ourselves use energy-efficient solutions. A perfect example of these efforts is our own headquarters, as well as the ventilation products and systems by SMAY that are manufactured in our innovative plant. We support PLGBC’s initiatives and we are aware of how important it is in our industry to improve the aspects of designing, building, and using the buildings themselves for sustainability.
