President of the Maj Family Foundation participates in the Great Maluch Expedition to Monte Carlo

Wielka Wyprawa Maluchów z udziałem Marzeny Maj, Prezeski Fundacji Rodziny Maj

On July 4th, 2023, the Fiat 126p called the ‘Maluch’, navigated by the President of the Maj Family Foundation, Marzena Maj, takes a trip to Monte Carlo. The Maluch will be driven by Rafał Sonik himself! The purpose of the expedition is to raise one million PLN to help child victims of traffic accidents. It is the greatest automotive charity project. We are happy to take part in it.

A perfectly unique Maluch and an equally unique purpose – helping children

The event, which took place on June 29th 2023, had another purpose apart from the integration of the company’s staff: the painting of the Fiat 126p, whose champion crew – including Rafał Sonik and Marzena Maj – set off on the Great Maluch Expedition to Monte Carlo. On that day, SMAY employees invited their children to visit the company. The children treated their challenge with full professionalism, and beautifully decorated the special Maluch.

The Maj Family Foundation supports a wonderful project

The Great Maluch Expedition to Monte Carlo is the greatest charity project in the automotive world. The purpose of this outstanding charity event is to raise one million PLN to help children injured in traffic accidents, as well as to promote safe driving and compliance with traffic regulations. Marzena Maj, the President of the Maj Family Foundation and Vice President of SMAY, decided to participate in the 10-day expedition and, starting July 4th, 2023, will be on the route from Bielsko-Biała to Monte Carlo in her Fiat 126p.

Painting the Maluch and meeting with Rafał Sonik

The children of SMAY employees who participated in the painting of the Maluch – apart from a number of unique attractions, such as an inflatable slide or a cotton candy feast – had the chance to meet Rafał Sonik, who gave them surprise gifts and talked about the purpose of the expedition, which Marzena Maj and Sonik himself would take in their magnificently painted Fiat 126p. Here’s a couple of photos from that eventful day:
