PDT/PDTK Damping roof flashing
Description
Rectangular roof flashings serve as support structures for roof bases while simultaneously providing the additional function of damping the noise transmitted by a ventilation system.
Intended use
PDTs and PDTKs act as acoustic silencers reducing fan noise and enabling the ventilation system to be routed through the roof plane. These constitute an element responsible for transferring the weight of the ventilation equipment mounted on the roof flashing to the roof structure.
Design
In the inner part of the flashing body, there is a mineral wood damping insert. The PDTK type has additional damping spheres for increased noise damping. The flashing bodies are normally made of zinc-plated steel with the average thickness of the zinc coating equal to 19 micrometres. Other external RAL colour-painted versions and a stainless steel customised version are available upon special request.
Dimensions of the roof flashings suitable for WOLTER fans are presented below. Flashings for fans from other manufacturers can also be produced upon demand.
