Fire resistance rating:

• F400 – fire resistance rating up to 400°C for 120 minutes
• F300 – fire resistance rating up to 300°C for 60 minutes
• F200 – fire resistance rating up to 200°C for 120 minutes

Operating parameters:

• Highly effective smoke extraction and air supply within a very short time (SEF(V) standard reversibility at a level of approx. 70%)
• The possibility of working in domestic applications also (PTC sensors are available as an option)
• In the case of fans with a flow vane at the outlet (SEF(V)GV), these devices have considerably higher efficiency (up to 85%) and higher flow parameters
• A short reaction time to a fire alarm signal
• Easy system adjustment due to the possibility of using an inverter
• Operation at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz

Operating principle

SEF(V)GV fans, due to the use of a vane, rectify the stream, which makes the air stream uniform and prevents possible additional turbulence directly downstream the fan. Such a solution significantly increases the efficiency and flow parameters. Thus eliminates additional, unpredictable pressure loss in the system directly downstream the fan.

Design

Robust housing made of galvanised steel. High rigidity of the system. The rotor crown and blades are made of high-strength aluminium alloy. All materials, parts and associated components conform to the relevant standards and directives. Certified accessories, such as mounting feet, anti-vibration mounts, elastic connection pipes, intake nozzles, protection mesh, diffusers and attenuators.

Available in short or long housing, with a rectifying vane.

Installation:

SMAY fans can be mounted both vertically and horizontally while maintaining the certification of the units. This ensures greater flexibility when designing optimum solutions.
On the other hand, a junction box on the fan housing makes it possible to make electrical connections quickly and provides convenient access during servicing operations.
The fan has been designed and adjusted for continuous operation and is highly resistant to mechanical impact, corrosion, temperature and humidity. The motors are made in accordance with ingress protection rating IP55, holding insulation class H and utilise the IC418 cooling method.
